Unknown individuals from a moving vehicle threw explosives at radio station Union Radio on Saturday, causing material damage but no victims.
The attack occurred in the early hours of Saturday and the explosion, which caused alarm among inhabitants of the zone.
The attack damaged the gate of the radio station's parking lot and a neighboring house, according to official reports.
The attack occurred two days before an opposition general laborstoppage to exert pressure on President Hugo Chavez to resign to pave way for general elections.
On September 13 four home-made bombs were thrown at the facilities of a news-broadcasting TV station in Barquisimeto, 350 kilometers west of Caracas, causing material damages.
