Heads of China's Hainan, South Korea's Cheju and Japan's Okinawa have agreed to help Bali of Indonesia restore its image as a top tourism destination, following last Saturday's bloody blasts that killed 184 people, mostly foreign tourists.

"The three have encouraged their people to vacation in Bali," head of the Bali provincial tourism office I Gde Pitana was quoted by the national news agency Antara as saying in Denpasar, Bali on Saturday.

Along with the vice governor of Bali I Ketut Wijana, Pitana just returned from Okinawa after attending a tourism promotion meeting of the four sister provinces on Oct. 15 -17 in Japan. The sister provinces of the four Asian nations have agreed to develop the tourism cooperation between them.

Two days earlier, the world tourism organization made a decision to form a special team to offer assistance to Indonesia's Bali island to revive its image and fame in the world market.
