The US government said Monday that it is "going to review" its next step towards the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (
DPRK
).
White House spokesman Ari Fleischer said that "We're going to review what our next step is."
"We're going to consult with our allies about what the next step should be vis-a-vis North Korea," Fleischer said in a new briefing.
"The president is concerned about this revelation and the fact that North Korea is pursuing a program in violation of their given word," he said.
The Bush administration seems not interested at present in contacting with the DPRK after the latter expressed its willingness Monday to resolve concerns over its nuclear weapons program through talks.
