Int'l Institutes Favor China's Educational Training Industry

China's educational training industry is teaming up with international institutions to benefit from their different way of thinking and modern techniques.

China's educational training industry is teaming up with international institutions to benefit from their different way of thinking and modern techniques.

Most of the contracts signed at an international education exhibition held recently in Nanning, capital of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, have been between educational training institutes.

"China's educational training industry has a great potential and a promising future. A new era is about to begin in China," said Steve Qiao, president of the south China headquarters of Linguaphone.

Linguaphone, an established British language educational group has signed a contract at the exhibition with Malaysia's CosmopointInstitute of Information Technology to co-develop China's educational training market.

As part of the contract, the two institutes will begin to offercourses on multimedia cartoon, e-business secretary and computer aided design in Guangxi next year.

The Indi International Education Inc. Hongkong, a well-known Asia-Pacific educational company which has 11 branches throughout the world, and a Guangxi professional language training company have also signed a letter of intent on cooperation.

They will jointly invest 25 million yuan (3 million US dollars)in five years to establish 10 educational centers in major Chinesecities. The centers will specialize in foreign languages, job qualification authentication and business affairs.

"China's economy has grown very fast, and Chinese enterprises and organizations in particular need more educational training nowthat the country is part of the World Trade Organization," said Nie Fenghui, advisor of the Guangxi Nanguo Lubiao Management Consulting Co., Ltd.

"That's why the international institutions have an eye on China's educational training industry," he said.

Educational training techniques are being upgraded in China. Satellite network is used provide tele-training courses. Experts believe that the use of high-tech will help integrate overseas anddomestic resources and make training more efficient.
