First King Steyr Off Production Line in Jinan

The first King Steyr heavy-duty truck came out of the production line in China National Heavy Duty Truck Corporation (CNHTC) recently, indicating that China's highest-level heavy-duty truck was finally put into mass production.

King Steyr, a new brand of hi-tech heavy-duty truck, was turned out by CNHTC, a result out of seven months' meticulous research. By combining the latest European technology and techniques of automobile-manufacturing and actual needs of Chinese customers, the brand now has independent intellectual property rights of our own, and is vastly superior to its Chinese-built counterparts in terms of design, internal decoration, quality and function.

The Society of Automotive Engineers of China (SAE-China) and eight experts with Tsinghua University have a very high opinion of it, believing that the "King Steyr represents the latest development as well as the highest level of China-made heavy-duty trucks, rated as the most advanced and prospective of the same kind".

As learned, King Steyr, developed as a significant step taken by CNHTC in the development strategy of four-product platforms, will be put forward as a main product to tap for the market next year.
