A joint venture between Australia's leading IT outsourcing services provider KAZ Group Ltd and Hong Kong-based Tradelink Electronic Commerce Ltd has been setup, enhancing Hong Kong's position as a regional IT service hub.

The new company, KAZ Computer Services Hongkong Ltd, held an opening ceremony at its data center Tuesday.

The company will serve as the KAZ Group's regional headquarters for Northern Asia, especially China.

"With its quality workforce and first-rate infrastructure, Hong Kong is the ideal place for multinational IT companies to establish a regional base," he said.

"The KAZ Group's experience and expertise will provide an additional boost to Hong Kong's IT sector, while helping Tradelink extend its commercial reach beyond its home market," he added.
