MOLSS Publishes Standards of 11 Professions in Vogue

MOLSS recently issued the fourth batch of national standards of 11 types of profession, including network managers, computer programmers, multimedia directors, enterprises trainers, project management professionals, enterprise information management professionals, indoor furnishing designers, fashion models, tea-culturist, flower arrangement professionals and laundry professionals.

Ministry of Labor and Social Security (MOLSS) recently issued the fourth batch of national standards of 11 types of profession, including network managers, computer programmers, multimedia directors, enterprises trainers, project management professionals, enterprise information management professionals, indoor furnishing designers, fashion models, tea-culturist, flower arrangement professionals and laundry professionals.

According to Workers' Daily, a responsible official with the MOLSS noted in the fourth batch of national occupational standards it has laid down specific regulations concerning the activity limits, work contents, technical requirements and knowledge levels of the 11 types of profession. With great attention paid to economic development, scientific and technological advancement and industry structural changes in these occupations, they were formulated in line with the rules of the Labor Law, and occupational classification canon of the People's Republic of China. And they were made to reflect objectively development levels of the aforesaid occupations and requirements set for the employed.

The official also said that the standards fresh from the publishing house would provide objective, standard and unified employment criteria and qualification, thereby playing a significant role in promoting the construction of national professional qualification system and the stabilization of employment. ��

As learned, the national occupational standards, constituting of a five-grade system, have clearly defined the activity limits, work contents, technical requirements and knowledge levels in accordance with different grades. In the meanwhile alterations have made in structures, modes and contents, so as to meet better the requirements of professional training, technical appraisal and employment. So far, standards for 113 types of occupation have been issued in China.
