Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf on Saturday evening said a peaceful transition of power to the elected representatives has taken place.

Pakistani president Pervez Musharraf on Saturday evening said a peaceful transition of power to the elected representatives has taken place.

The president made the above statement while dinning with a batch of newly-elected parliamentarians, including prime minister Mir Zafarullah Jamali.
