Finnish President Arrives in Beijing for State Visit

President Tarja Halonen of the Republic of Finland arrived in Beijing Tuesday morning on a three-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

President Tarja Halonen of the Republic of Finland arrived in Beijing Tuesday morning on a three-day state visit to China at the invitation of Chinese President Jiang Zemin.

Halonen, who is on her first visit to China after assuming presidency, is to hold a series of talks or meetings with Chinese leaders during the visit.
