Bomb Explodes in Poso, Central Sulawesi, Indonesia

A low explosive bomb exploded on Monday morning outside an office of the Poso administration in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, causing no casualties, the Antara news agency reported.

A low explosive bomb exploded on Monday morning outside an office of the Poso administration in Central Sulawesi, Indonesia, causing no casualties, the Antara news agency reported.

According to head of Poso Nation Unity and Community ProtectionOffice Amirullah Sia, the explosion caused disruption to the office building.

Poso police spokesman Adj. Sr. Comr. Agus Sugianto said the police are still investigating the case.

"We're still collecting evidences," he said.

Poso has been ravaged by sectarian clashes between Muslims and Christians since 2000. Despite the signing of the government-sponsored truce early this year by both camps, bomb explosions andgunfights have continued.
