China Wins Third Gold in Gymnastics World Cup
World champion Li Xiaopeng won the parallel bars Sunday at a gymnastics World Cup in Stuttgart, the third gold medal for China.

won the parallel bars Sunday at a gymnastics World Cup in Stuttgart, the third gold medal for China.
Li was awarded 9.837, beating out countryman Huang Xu at 9.787 and Sean Townsend of the
United States
at 9.700.
Slovenia's Aljaz Pegan won the high bars while world champion Marius Urzica gave
Romania
a gold in the pommel horse.
In women's competitions, Olympic champion Elena Zamolodchikova of
Russia
shared the top honors with Oksana Chusovitina of
Uzbekistan
after judges awarded both marks of 9.412.
China's Sun Xiaojiao took the women's beam event.
In the rhythmic gymnastics, the Ukraine's Anna Bessonova dominated by taking the rope, hoops and clubs.
