Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon Thursday said he has not ruled out evacuating Jewish settlements as part of a peace deal with the Palestinians, Israel Army Radio reported.

Speaking to reporters in the coastal city of Tel Aviv, Sharon said "there is a lot of desire to hear what I am willing to dismantle, but it would be a mistake to reveal this at this time."

With the implementation of the plan proposed by US President George W. Bush, Israel would create a contiguous area of territory that would allow the Palestinians to travel from Jenin to Hebron inthe West Bank without passing any Israeli roadblocks, he said.

When asked about the appointment of ministers in a future government, Sharon said Defense Minister Shaul Mofaz would remain and Foreign Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom he described as "talented", would make a great contribution to the team before the elections.

The prime minister also said he had ordered the security forces to deal with the terror threats posed to Israeli airlines and vessels.
