Angola's President Jose Eduardo dos Santos swore in a new cabinet team on Monday to serve under Angola's new prime minister Fernando Dias dos Santos, who became the country's first head of government in three years last Friday.

Dias dos Santos is replaced at the Interior Ministry by OswaldoSerra Van-Dunem, a former Angolan ambassador to Portugal.

At the swearing in ceremony in Luanda's presidential palace, Amadeu Mauricio was appointed as the new governor of the Bank of Angola.

President Dos Santos had said last Friday that the new administration, which includes representatives of the former National Union for the Total Independence of Angola rebels, shouldmake "integrity and competence" hallmarks of their actions.
