China Guangdong Commodities Fair Held in Cambodia

The 2nd China Guangdong Commodities Fair, organized by the Guangdong Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, opened at the Mondial Center in Phnom Penh on Wednesday.

The 2nd China Guangdong Commodities Fair, organized by the Guangdong Sub-Council of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, opened at the Mondial Center in Phnom Penh on Wednesday.

Cambodian Minister of Commerce Cham Prasidh and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Ning Fukui attended the opening ceremony.

Cham Prasidh spoke highly of Guangdong's commodities fair, saying it would further enhance the exchange and cooperation between the two countries in the trade and economic fields and will be sure to benefit each other and help improve the development of Cambodia's market economy.

"Cambodia and China are complementary economically, and have more rooms for cooperation," added Cham Prasidh. He said that with a more opening-up economy, the Cambodian government welcomes more and more Chinese enterprises and companies to do business and invest in Cambodia.

A total of 48 companies and corporations participated the exhibition. Among them are some large and famous enterprise groups and famous-brand, quality products in domestic as well as in the international markets, such as KONKA group Co,. Ltd, Goldlion Holding Limited, Guangdong D.K.D. Group, Guangzhou Double Fish Sport Goods Group Co., Ltd, and Guangzhou Light Industry and Trade Group Co., Ltd.

Exhibits being displayed include food products, clothing, electronic products, freezing equipment, sports goods and electrical appliances.

The exhibition runs from Wednesday to Saturday.
