PLA Forces in HK Sends Greetings to HK Media

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Forces in Hong Kong has sent its season's greetings to the media of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Friday.

The People's Liberation Army (PLA) Forces in Hong Kong has sent its season's greetings to the media of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR) Friday.

"Christmas and the New Year are soon to come, on behalf of the spokesperson of the forces and all the staff of the Spokesperson'sOffice, we wish to send our most sincere greetings and blessings of the season to our friends in the media," a press release issued by the forces said.

The year that is coming to pass has been the fifth year since Hong Kong's return to the motherland and since the PLA Forces' arrival and stationing in Hong Kong, it said.

"During the period, our friends in the media have shown their warm concern over our forces by turning out a huge volume of objective media coverage on the undertaking of the defense work ofour forces, as well as on the daily life of our officers. This hasimproved public perception of the forces and their trust in the forces," it said.
