Chinese Envoy to Attend Brazilian Presidential Handover

A special envoy of the Chinese government will attend the handover ceremony of presidential powerof Brazil, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Thursday.

A special envoy of the Chinese government will attend the handover ceremony of presidential powerof Brazil, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Thursday.

Zhang Chunxian, Chinese minister of communications, will be present at the ceremony to be held in Brasilia on Jan. 1 of 2003 at the invitation of the government of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
