Vice-premier Meets Noted World Scientists

Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing on Thursday met with representatives of the Chinese and foreign scientists who attended the China Science and Technology Development New Century Forum.

Chinese Vice-Premier Li Lanqing on Thursday met with representatives of the Chinese and foreign scientists who attended the China Science and Technology Development New Century Forum.

Li expressed warm welcome to them and encouraged them to contribute valuable suggestions and experience to the development of sciences and technologies in China.

Those scientists were from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and the University of Minnesota of the United States, as well as the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Qinghua University.
