Seven people were killed Wednesday ina southeastern Afghan village when a hand grenade exploded in a crowded wedding party, Afghan state news agency BIA reported.

Six others were injured in the accident in Zormat district of Paktia province, about 150 kilometers from Kabul, Bakhtar Information Agency said.
