China Appoints New Officials
Shang Fulin has been appointed chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission by the State Council to replace Zhou Xiaochuan.

Shang Fulin has been appointed chairman of the
China Securities Regulatory Commission
by the State Council to replace Zhou Xiaochuan.
Other appointments are: Li Yufu as vice minister of Supervision to replace Gan Yisheng; Wang Xudong as vice minister of Information Industry; and He Xiaowei as deputy director of the Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the
Macao
Special Administrative Region, replacing Ke Xiaogang.
Wang Qishan was removed as director of the Economic Restructuring Office of the State Council.
Gao Xiqing was removed as vice chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission.
