A previously disappeared airplane of Peru's state-owned Tans was spotted on Thursday noon in the Peruvian jungle, where it had emergency-landed.
Only two passengers were injured in the emergency landing, according to a report by the Andina news agency.
The plane, a Fokker F-28, with 46 passengers on board, had to land near Lonyo Chico, a four-minute flight away from the Chachapoyas Airport, its final destination.
For undetermined reasons, the plane had been reported as missing after it lost contact with the Chachapoyas Airport control tower, a few minutes prior to begin its landing maneuvers.
