Siemens Supplies Medical Equipment to Xinjiang

German technology giant Siemens is to supply medical equipment, including a digital x-ray machine anda computerized tomography scanner, in a 10-year cooperative venture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

German technology giant Siemens is to supply medical equipment, including a digital x-ray machine anda computerized tomography scanner, in a 10-year cooperative venture in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region.

The Changji Hui Autonomous County is to spend a five-million-US-dollar loan from the North European Investment Bank to renovate its medical equipment.

Siemens will pay the interest of the loan, 960,000 US dollars in total, while supplying all the equipment.
