Turkish PM Meet Saudi Crown Prince on Iraqi Crisis

Visiting Turkish Prime MinisterAbdullah Gul on Saturday held talks with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz on the latest developments in the Middle East, the Iraq crisis in particular.

Visiting Turkish Prime MinisterAbdullah Gul on Saturday held talks with Saudi Crown Prince Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz on the latest developments in the Middle East, the Iraq crisis in particular.

Their talks also touched on Islamic and international situations as well as boosting bilateral relations, the official KUNA news agency reported.

Gul arrived in the Saudi capital of Riyadh earlier on Saturday for his first official visit to the oil-rich kingdom since assuming office last December.

He is also expected to meet with Saudi King Fahd Ibn Abdul-Aziz,and then fly to Iran with the aim of coordinating stances to avoid a war in the region, according to the report.

Gul just wrapped up his three-Arab nation tour last week in which he visited Syria, Egypt and Jordan.
