Song Defu Re-elected Head of Fujian Provincial Legislature

Song Defu was re-elected the chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress of east China's Fujian province at the first meeting of the tenth people's congress of Fujian province on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Zhang Jiakun, Jia Xitai, Hong Huasheng (female), Huang Xianmo, Lin Qiang, Cao Degan, Xie Xianwen and Zeng Xixiang were elected vice chairmen of the standing committee of the Provincial People's Congress.

Lu Zhangong was elected governor of Fujian province. Huang Xiaojing, Wang Yifu, Liu Dezhang, Chen Yun, Wang Meixiang (female),Ye Shuangyu and Li Chuan were elected as vice governors of the province.

Song was also the secretary of the provincial committee of the Communist Party of China.
