Olympic Silver Winner Li Wins 500m at Chinese Winter Games

Olympic silver medalist Li Jiajun from Changchun came from behind to win the short track speed skating men's 500m title at the 10th Chinese National Winter Games Tuesday in Harbin.

Olympic silver medalist Li Jiajun from Changchun came from behind to win the short track speed skating men's 500m title at the 10th Chinese National Winter Games Tuesday in Harbin.

Li, the men's 1,500m runner-up at the Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games in 2002, surpassed Liu Yingbao of Mudanjiang with two laps to go and did not look back.

Li, who won the men's 1,500m on Monday, clocked 42.932 seconds for his second gold at the Games while Liu finished with a silver in 43.012.

Guo Wei and Feng Kai, both from Changchun, came in third and fourth respectively.
