Guangzhou Honda Rolls out New Model

Guangzhou Honda Automotive Co. Ltd. rolled out its seventh-generation Accord Guangzhou Honda Wednesday.

Guangzhou Honda Automotive Co. Ltd. rolled out its seventh-generation Accord Guangzhou Honda Wednesday.

The new model, priced at 259,800 yuan (about 31,300 US dollars), will arrive in showrooms in 10 days.

The Accord features 2.4 liter engines. The company has promisedto launch additional Accord models powered by 2 or 3 liter engines this March and April, respectively.

After setting up business on July 1, 1998, Guangzhou Honda Automotive Co. Ltd. introduced from the United States the sixth-generation Accord, whose sales volume, as of Dec. 4, 2002, had reached 139,000.
