Turkish ruling Justice and Development Party (AK Party) Chairman Tayyip Erdogan highly evaluates his recent visit to China, reported the Anatolian News Agency on Saturday.

"I believe that Turkey will be one of the countries which the Chinese people get interested in tourism," Erdogan told reporters at the airport upon return from a four-day visit to China.

He said his delegation had seen for themselves to what dimensions China's development had reached.

"We discussed with the Chinese friends the Kars-Tbilisi railway line (linking the Turkish eastern city of Kars with the Georgian capital of Tbilisi), and the steps that would be taken in energy," he said.

"I also believe that Turkey will be a country where Chinese people get interested and visit," he asserted.

Erdogan said they also invited Chinese Communist Party officials to visit Turkey.

"We want to improve relations in political area by inviting Chinese Communist Party officials. The Chinese officials stated that they would visit Turkey in April-May. I believe that the visits would be in favor of both countries," he said.
