Yang Yongliang Elected Head of Hubei Provincial Legislature

Yang Yongliang was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress of central China's Hubei province during the first meeting of the 10th People's Congress of Hubei province on Sunday.

Yang Yongliang was elected chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress of central China's Hubei province during the first meeting of the 10th People's Congress of Hubei province on Sunday.

Meanwhile, Zhao Wenyuan, Zhang Hongxiang, Wang Shouhai, Zhu Chunxuan (ethnic Tujia Nationality), Gao Ruike, Jia Tianzeng and Bao Longqing were elected vice-chairmen and Ji Lingzhi, vice-chairwoman, of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress.

With respect to the governorship, Luo Qingquan was elected governor of Hubei province, and Zhou Jianwei, Han Zhongxue, Liu Youfan, Jiang Chaoliang, Ren Shimao, Jiang Daguo (female), Gu Shengzu were elected as vice-governors of the province.

Wu Jiayou was elected president of the Hubei Provincial Higher People's Court.
