Chinese U-22 Lose 2-0 to Denmark
Chinese U-22 team suffered a 2-0 defeat to
Denmark
in a soccer friendly Tuesday in Hangzhou.
Captain Michael Silberbaner open the score for Denmark 8 minutes into the match as Chinese defenders made their first mistake of the game.
Only 15 minutes later Thomas Augustinussen headed home a perfect free-kick to seal the 2-0 victory.
Denmark's head coach said that Chinese young players impressed him very much, although they were beaten 2-0.
"They had a very good play. I think they are the strongest team we have met in the past six months. Du Wei and Yu Tao, they did impress me a lot."
"But my players had a better performance today, I think, they deserved the result."
Chinese coach Shen Xiangfu said, "We had a poor game today, our players are not in the form, that's why we lost the game."
