China to Play US in Algarve Cup Final

Chinese women's soccer team have finished the group stages of the Algarve Cup in Portugal with an unbeaten record.

Chinese women's soccer team have finished the group stages of the Algarve Cup in Portugal with an unbeaten record.

Earlier this morning, China, former World Cup runners-up defeated Denmark 2-1, staying on top of their group with seven points after three games.

They will now take on their formidable rival, the United States, in Thursday's championship-deciding match.

The US, the current World Cup holders, secured the other slot in the tournament's final after a 1-all draw with Sweden.

The Algarve Cup is a traditional warm-up tournament for the World Cup.
