Foreigners' Safety in China Guaranteed: FM Spokesman

The safety of foreign citizens and embassies in China is guaranteed, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday.

The safety of foreign citizens and embassies in China is guaranteed, a Foreign Ministry spokesman said Thursday.

The Chinese government attaches great importance to the safety of foreign citizens, embassies and organizations in China, said spokesman Kong Quan at a regular press conference.

The Chinese society is safe, and under the current situation, departments concerned continue to tighten security for embassies of major countries, said Kong, adding: "Their safety will be ensured."
