Computer Thieves Convicted in Beijing

Four suspects who stole computers from a Beijing cyber-cafe following a fire last June have been convicted of burglary.

Four suspects who stole computers from a Beijing cyber-cafe following a fire last June have been convicted of burglary.

A local court has passed sentences upon the convicts ranging from 10 months to four years imprisonment for stealing the computers.

A fire tore through the underground Beijing cafe last June, killing 25 and injuring 12 others. Two teenagers caused the blaze. One received a life sentence while the other got a 12 year term.
