Fire in E. China Claims No Lives, Leaves One Missing
Wednesday's fire in east China's Zhejiang Province claimed no lives, but has left a 60-year-old deaf woman missing.

Province claimed no lives, but has left a 60-year-old deaf woman missing.
The fire destroyed 75 homes, leaving over 700 villagers homeless. Losses were estimated at 6 million yuan (723,000 US dollars), according to local officials.
About 300 people, including fire-fighters, police officers and local villagers, rushed to the scene to fight the fire, which occurred at 1:30 pm on Wednesday in Zhuping Village of Zuoxi Town,in Qingyuan County.
Disaster relief materials has been sent to the village, including quilts, clothing, prepared food and bottled mineral water.
The police are investigating the cause of the fire.
