China Launches Eight New Flights to Japan
The Northern Company of the China Southern Air Holding Company initiated eight new flights to Japan Sunday as part of its new flight schedule.

The Northern Company of the China Southern Air Holding Company initiated eight new flights to
Japan
Sunday as part of its new flight schedule.
With the eight new additions, the company, formerly China Northern Airlines, now operates 33 flights a week on 12 routes to Japan, including flights from Shenyang to Tokyo, Shenyang to Osaka, Shenyang to Sapporo, Shenyang to Fukuoka, Dalian to Tokyo, Dalian to Osaka, Dalian to Tomiyama, Dalian to Tomioka, Dalian to Nagoya, Changchun to Sendai, Harbin to Niigata and, Harbin to Dalian to Hiroshima.
All flights depart from China's northeast. Shenyang is the capital city of
Liaoning
Province, while Dalian is a port city in the same province. Harbin is the capital of
Heilongjiang
Province, and Changchun is the capital of
Jilin
Province.
Passenger volume between Japan and the three northeastern Chinese provinces has increased in recent years, commensurate with the growth of trade and exchanges between the two countries.
In addition, the company now has eight air routes to the Republic of Korea, and operates two flights a week between
Beijing
and Pyongyang.
Flights to the
Russia
n cities of Vladivostok, Moscow and Irkutsk will be launched depending on consumer demand, the company said.
