China Congratulates Qatar on Permanent Constitution

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Wednesday that China congratulates the smooth approval of the permanent constitution by referendum in Qatar on Apr. 30.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Liu Jianchao said Wednesday that China congratulates the smooth approval of the permanent constitution by referendum in Qatar on Apr. 30.

Liu said that the approval of the permanent constitution was a significant event in the political life of the Qatari people. China heartily wished that, under the leadership of His Royal Highness Emir Sheikh Hamad Bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the State of Qatar would make continuous achievements in national construction.
