Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni has said that the door of the ruling National Movement is wide open and welcomes all those in opposition groups who would wish to come back to the movement main stream, Radio Uganda reported on Tuesday night.

President Museveni made the remarks when he received a Reform Agenda delegation led by its Vice Chairman Sam Kalegga Njuba, who paid a call on him at the State House on Monday.

Museveni told the delegation that whereas the government accepts objective criticism from the opposition, it however, cannot tolerate any act of unconstitutionalism and terrorism.

President Museveni assured them that the government has never arrested or even victimized anyone because of his or her politicalviews.

Sam Njuba and his delegation told the president that Reform Agenda is just a pressure group that operates in good faith and does not involve itself in any subversive activities.

They said that any Ugandan, who gets involved in unconstitutional activities, should be arrested and prosecuted in his capacity as an individual.

Reform Agenda is an opposition political pressure group in Uganda. Most of the group members supported presidential candidateKizza Besigye in the 2001 presidential election. Besigye was defeated by President Museveni in the 2001 presidential election.
