Thailand-Cambodia to Hold Joint Cabinet Meeting

Thailand and Cambodia will hold a joint cabinet meeting at the end of this month, as Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has instructed cabinet members to be well-prepared for the joint discussions.

Thailand and Cambodia will hold a joint cabinet meeting at the end of this month, as Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra has instructed cabinet members to be well-prepared for the joint discussions.

Government Spokesman Sitha Tivaree said after a weekly cabinet meeting here that the joint Thai-Cambodian cabinet meeting was scheduled on May 31, the Thai News Agency reported Wednesday.

The meeting will be divided into two sessions, the first one will be held in the Cambodian city of Seamreab and the second one will be held in Thailand's northeastern province of Ubon Ratchathani.

The Cambodian cabinet members will stay overnight in Ubon Ratchathani and will return home on June 1, the spokesman added.
