Explosion Occurs in Downtown Moscow
An explosion broke out Monday at Moscow's downtown Arbat Street and injured several people, Interfax reported.

An explosion broke out Monday at Moscow's downtown Arbat Street and injured several people, Interfax reported.
The Moscow police received a call about the explosion at about 8:00 p.m. Moscow time and firefighters are fighting the fire that broke out at the scene.
The explosion occurred in an old two-storey wooden building at No. 36, Arbat Street. The windows and floors of the building were destroyed, local police officers said.
It is believed that a gas leak triggered the explosion, according to Interfax.
