Powell Begins Visit to Russia

US Secretary of State Colin Powell arrived in Moscow early Wednesday to discuss with Russian leaders the issues on Iraqi oils and explain US Middle East policy.

US Secretary of State Colin Powell arrived in Moscow early Wednesday to discuss with Russian leaders the issues on Iraqi oils and explain US Middle East policy.

Powell is to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin and Foreign Minister Igor Ivanov on Wednesday during his two-day visit.

He is also expected to talk about the US-Russian presidential summit later this month in St. Peterburg.

Powell flew into Moscow from Riyadh. Moscow is one of his stops on his round trip to Middle East and European countries.
