Six Dead after Chemical Factory Explosion
Six people died and 15 were injured in an explosion and fire at a chemical plant in north China's Hebei Province Wednesday, fire brigade officers said.

Province Wednesday, fire brigade officers said.
A reaction tower exploded and collapsed Wednesday morning killing one and leaving five people buried under the ruins, and the collapse triggered a blaze in a nearby warehouse, said the officers.
It took the firefighters with 22 fire engines nearly two hours to put out the blaze in the plant in the northeastern suburb of Shijiazhuang, capital of the province.
During the accident, 20 people were hospitalized, and five diedin hospital.
Eight people are still receiving medical treatment.
Police said preliminary investigations indicated the explosion was an accident, adding the case was still under investigation.
The company is privately owned with 44 employees.
