Chinese Du Li Claims First Gold at ISSF World Cup in Zagreb
Chinese Du Li took the first gold medal with a new world record at the ISSF World Cup shooting even there on Wednesday.

Chinese Du Li took the first gold medal with a new world record at the ISSF World Cup shooting even there on Wednesday.
Du entered the women's 10m air rifle final with the maximum result of 400 in the qualifications, which became equal to former world record. But she kept going on with a new record.
Next one she made in the final match -- 104.9 and totally she grabbed the first place with 504.9 -- a new world record.
South Korean Seo Sun Hwa won the silver with 500.4 and bronze went to another South Korean Kang Cho Hyun on 499.
Since Du and Seo have already qualified for the 2004 Olympic games, Kang got another berth in Zagreb.
Medals were given in men's 10m air rifle event too. A total of 131 competitors took part in this event, but the best was Peter Sidi from
Hungary
(699.2). Torsten Krebs from
Germany
was second (698.4) and he won the Olympic berth. Robert Kraskowski from
Poland
won the third place (698.4).
