Tsinghua University, RFWaves Sign Partnership Agreement

China's leading engineering school Tsinghua University Sunday announced a strategic partnership agreement with RFWaves, a leading developer in short range radio wireless technologies.

China's leading engineering school Tsinghua University Sunday announced a strategic partnership agreement with RFWaves, a leading developer in short range radio wireless technologies.

According to the agreement, RFWaves will make its technological solutions and expertise available to Tsinghua University's Electronic Engineering Department's Complex Engineered Systems Lab. The parties will together develop programs, projects and activities to develop RFW short-range wireless technology in China.

"As a leading University in China, Tsinghua always devotes herself to bridging the gap between the world's cutting-edge technologies and China's application scenarios" says Forest Lin, Manager of Tsinghua Universities Complex Engineered Systems Lab.

"With the demand for mobile communication and mobile computing, the needs for wireless short-range access technology emerged in many places in China. We believe that RFWaves, as an open, simple and ready-to-develop technology, will provide us maximum space to develop Chinese market oriented applications. In cooperation with RFWaves, we are aiming at providing RFWaves based communication devices and/or system prototypes to Chinese customers in the industries of Consumer Electronics, Computers, Home and Industrial automation, Education, Agriculture, Tourism and Everyday-life facilities."
