Tour of Qinghai Lake to Be Held In August

Tour of Qinghai Lake cycle race will be held from August 10-17 in west China's Qinghai province, organizers said here on Tuesday.

Tour of Qinghai Lake cycle race will be held from August 10-17 in west China's Qinghai province, organizers said here on Tuesday.

The annual race, which was introduced last year, will be divided into eight stages, covering a total distance of 1,138.1 kilometers.

Some 20 teams from home and abroad are expected to participate in the event, organizers said.

The Qinghai Lake, at an elevation of 3,195 meters above the sealevel, is the largest saltwater lake in China.
