China has won its first gold medal at the 2003 Special Olympics Summer Games here on Wednesday.

China has won its first gold medal at the 2003 Special Olympics Summer Games here on Wednesday.

The first gold for China was won by paddlers Xi Yong and Wang Shoudong in the men's doubles best-of-five table tennis tournament, which attracted the participation of 50 countries and regions.
