China Lifts Warning on Fishing in Gulf Region
China has lifted a warning against fishing in the Persian Gulf and Oman Gulf areas, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced Thursday.

China has lifted a warning against fishing in the Persian Gulf and Oman Gulf areas, the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOC) announced Thursday.
The decision was made by a coordinating group composed of relevant departments of the MOC, the
Ministry of Agriculture
, the
Ministry of Foreign Affairs
and the Ministry of Communication.
The coordinating group issued the warning on Feb. 18, 2003, 30 days before the outbreak of the war against
Iraq
.
