Forum to Promote Tourism in East China

A two-day forum on cooperation in promoting regional tourism among cities situated at the Yangtze River Delta in east China has been scheduled to open July 5 in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, according to a news briefing Monday in Hangzhou.

A two-day forum on cooperation in promoting regional tourism among cities situated at the Yangtze River Delta in east China has been scheduled to open July 5 in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, according to a news briefing Monday in Hangzhou.

The forum will draw nearly 200 tourism businesses and about 250 attendees, including representatives from 15 cities located at thedelta, including Shanghai, Nanjing, Wuxi, Ningbo and Shaoxing, andthose from the city of Huangshan, a tourist attraction in Anhui Province.

The forum will cover the formation and development of a tourism region at the delta, promotion of the tourism industry in east China, and regional cooperation in exploring overseas tourism resources.
