Vanuatu PM Visits Guangxi

Lu Bing, acting chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government, met with visiting Prime Minister Nipake Edward Natapei of Vanuatu Tuesday in Nanning.

Lu Bing, acting chairman of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region government, met with visiting Prime Minister Nipake Edward Natapei of Vanuatu Tuesday in Nanning.

Lu said that Guangxi and Vanuatu are mutually complementary in economy and have room for cooperation on ocean resources, tourism and agriculture.

He said he hoped for promoting economic cooperation with Vanuatu.

Natapei said that Guangxi has already become Vanuatu's trading partner. He invited businessmen of Guangxi to invest in Vanuatu and encouraged further economic cooperation between the two sides.

Natapei is visiting China as guest of Premier Wen Jiabao.
