He Luli Continues to Assume CPSPD Presidency

He Luli, vice-chairwoman of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee, will continue acting as president of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD).

He Luli, vice-chairwoman of China's National People's Congress Standing Committee, will continue acting as president of the Chinese People's Association for Peace and Disarmament (CPAPD).

The CPAPD convened a meeting Wednesday to review its work over the past four years.

Founded in June 1985 as a non-governmental organization advocating peace, CPAPD has been devoted to international communication and academic exchanges for mutual understanding, friendship and world peace. It has so far established its relations with approximately 300 peace groups from more than 90 countries, and dozens of international non-governmental organizations.
