German Student Shoots Teacher, Kills Himself

A 16-year-old student shot and wounded a teacher and then killed himself on Wednesday at a high school in southern Germany, the police said.

A 16-year-old student shot and wounded a teacher and then killed himself on Wednesday at a high school in southern Germany, the police said.

The incident occurred at about 9 a.m. (0700GMT) in a high school in the southern German town of Coburg.

The student walked into a classroom in the high school with a pistol and fired a number of shots.

A female teacher was hit in the leg.
