Chinese Boat Capsizes off Eastern Coast of S.Korean

Three people died and six others are still missing after a Chinese cargo boat capsized off South Korea's eastern coast near the South Korean southern port city of Busan Monday morning, reported national news agency Yonhap News.

Three people died and six others are still missing after a Chinese cargo boat capsized off South Korea's eastern coast near the South Korean southern port city of Busan Monday morning, reported national news agency Yonhap News.

Maritime officials said they have retrieved the bodies of three of the nine crew members of the 127-ton freezer storage boat on Monday afternoon.

The boat had left the Chinese port of Weihai on Saturday and was due to arrive at Mukho, some 400 kilometers south to Seoul, onthe eastern coast of South Korea by 6 p.m. (0900 GMT) Monday.

Up to now, the causing of the accident is not available.
