Palestinian radical Islamic Jihad (Holy War) leaders threatened on Monday that they would breach the three-month Hunda, or truce, if Israel continues detaining leaders and members of the group in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

Bassma Sa'di, a senior Islamic Jihad leader in the West Bank, said that the movement's statement was made after the Israelisecurity forces arrested its five leaders in the village of Qabatyanear Jenin in northern West Bank.

Leaders of the group that met in Gaza City with Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas, or Abu Mazen, a few days ago, had presented to him a list of the Israeli violations of the Palestinian Hunda.

Islamic resistance movement Hamas had also announced earlier Monday that the continuous Israeli violations of the ceasefire deal would of course compel all the Palestinian factions and powers which declared the Hunda to change their stance.

Abdel Aziz Ranteesi, a senior Hamas leader in Gaza, said thatthe Israeli refusal to release all Palestinian prisoners fromIsraeli jails, would cause the Hunda with Israel to collapse.
